This story tells of a young cat named Koubla who was found underneath a house and her evenutal dramatic rescue from the attic of a New Orleans house flooded after Hurricane Katrina. We follow Koubla on her travels and adventures through New Orleans and Mexico as she learns about life, experiencing tragedy, romance, motherhood, abandonment, and the kindness of strangers. But most of all it tells of the incredible bond between Koubla and her favorite human friend. There are life lessons for everyone in this story.
